AquaCool™ is a clean, water-based surface coating with an extremely high content of phase-changing material. It is a post treatment that can be applied to any type of foam (molded or slab), fabric, or fiber to create a highly durable, breathable, and flexible coating. AquaCool acts as a super-conductive highway for heat flow to not only cool, but also help maintain the ideal temperature for comfort. It features superior adhesion for various applications such as pillows, mattress layers, toppers, and other comfort products.

AquaCool is produced using a variety of conductive additives, including ceramic, titanium, copper, LumaCool™, and Black Diamond. Other versions of the product feature antimicrobial performance additives such as copper and silver. The addition of these additives dramatically enhances the thermal performance of the coating, allowing it to continue regulating the sleep microclimate throughout the night. AquaCool can be applied by roll coating or spraying, and does not include a solvent to avoid any issues with unpleasant odors.
