RATHGEBER produces not only webbings, elastic knitted fabrics for the suspension of chairs and upholstered furniture, but also shrink fabrics which are brought to the correct tension by heat. Special feature is that due to the material composition the fabric develops an elastic and supporting spring effect. Seat and back surfaces can be covered with it. Another advantage is the very effective processing method, especially in case of office chairs where single-layer mesh coverings with sewn-on profiles were used to be mounted into grooves.
