In 1997 Ineke Hans launched her first furniture from recycled plastic. Since then she has worked with recycled materials and has involved efficient material use in many of her projects. Over the years she worked with many leading international clients, always with a critical attitude towards design and its impact in our society and exploring new boundaries. In recent years Ineke focussed also on different systems and strategies for design: 'If we want to move to a circular economy we also have to explore different economic models for Design' In 2021 her chair REX was launched with Circuform: the first Dutch Deposit Chair. At Interzum Ineke will talk about her work and about the revolutionary REX.
