“aerfom fr” are fire-retardant polyurethane foams made from viscoelastic foam. One special feature is that they are produced entirely without the use of halogen and melamine components that are harmful to health and are normally found in fire-retardant foams like these. The special foam “aerfom fr” is fire retardant and meets the UK Crib 5 fire protection standard, which provides among other things that flames must self extinguish within ten minutes.

The “Concrete Metal” kitchen fronts combine the elegance of metal with the graphic structure of concrete. A layer of concrete is manually applied to PEFC- and CARB2-certified MDF panels, then sealed with a water-based varnish containing metal powder. This confers the surface resistance to abrasion and scratches. “Concrete Metal” fronts are available in eight colours.

For “Lined Concrete” kitchen fronts, a blend of natural pigments and concrete is applied to PEFC- and CARB2-certified MDF panels. A protective layer of an environmentally friendly water-based varnish confers the surface resistance to scratches and abrasion.

Blink is a magnetic clip used to attach kitchen plinth panels. Clixtag are board connecting fittings that use an innovative connecting mechanism to allow wooden boards to be joined so that the corners are flush. For assembly, four-millimetre-deep grooves are milled into the panels at the desired locations. The connecting fittings are then inserted into the grooves. After that, the boards can be clicked in and can also be glued as needed – this is not required if the furniture has a back panel.

Digital Lacquer Embossing (DLE) is an innovative digital method for structuring surfaces. DLE can be used to adapt the feel of the surface to match its look. Furthermore, there are completely new design options by putting a structure on a unicolored surface. To achieve this result, a transparent medium is printed into a layer of non-cured, conventional lacquer. The physical and chemical reactions triggered create a deep structure. DLE doesn’t change the properties of the lacquer and can be integrated into existing processes.

ELA-3D are dowels for furniture assembly, where the components equipped with the system are simply fitted together. The dowels clamp longitudinal, preventing any lateral bulging in the dowel connection and allowing for milling of materials with a thickness of 13 mm or more. Each connection comprises of two sleeves milled into the wooden parts, and one connector, which clicks into the sleeve. The dowel can also be inserted into the workpiece directly without a sleeve by using a CNC machine and a special milling cutter.

The durable and sustainable textiles for mattress covers are made from plastic removed from the ocean. The organisation is paying fishermen to bring the rubbish they find in their nets ashore instead of throwing it back into the ocean. The plastic is broken down and melted to produce pellets to make fibres. This 100% recycled material is used to produce the Seaqual yarn for weaving and knitting soft mattress textiles.

SilverCut is a silver-grey real wood veneer made from oak with a rough-cut surface. To give the wood its sunburnt, weathered appearance, it is treated with gallic acid colourings. This method retains the colouring and growth pattern of the wood because the colour enters the cell walls. The Tube Round discreetly frames mirrors, giving them a self-contained appearance in a minimalistic design. The combination of the aluminium profile and the satin silicone cover makes it shock-and splash-proof whereby it is also possible to install the luminaire in bathrooms. The Tube Round comes with matching brackets that are available in several different colours to set striking accents. Because of the colour-change-control it is possible to easily adjust the light according to the situation.

Unico is a mechanism for downward flap doors with an integrated hinge. The mechanism is just 13.5 mm thick and can be fitted in four configurations: recessed in the side panel or a double side as well as recessed flush mounting or screwed on with a cover. Unico can be used to mount flap doors of 18 to 20 mm and 20 to 30 mm in thickness. The position of the door, the opening and closing force and the spring force can be adjusted using the mechanism.

Vicky Pur is a seat shell made from polyurethane cold foam. For improved ergonomic seating comfort combined with product longevity, the production process involves co-moulding an innovative semi-rigid polyurethane resin to a flexible polyurethane resin. The common polymeric base of the materials guarantees long-lasting adhesion between the two layers. It also improves the aesthetics, as the material thickness is reduced.

The puristically designed furniture fitting VS SUB Comfort facilitates better access to the lower storage space of hinged door cabinets. The system fitting made from filigree steel means that two pull-out shelves are extended simultaneously when the doors are opened. The upper shelf can simply be pushed back in again after opening, facilitating access to the lower level. When the doors are closed, the two shelves are automatically retracted again.

Wildspitze on wallpaper gold comprises real, hand-processed alpine grasses loosely spread on a golden fabric backed wallpaper. The gentle production process largely preserves the natural features of the grasses in terms of their scent, colour and feel. The natural surface was designed to make it possible to experience the materials with the senses and improve the indoor climate.

The Woodcoustics acoustic panels marry a natural appearance with noise-insulating properties for improved acoustics in heavily frequented, loud spaces. The range comprises four different acoustic absorption systems, all based on the Helmholtz principle of echo reduction: grooved and drilled panels as well as nano- or microperforated surfaces. Woodcoustics is available in 16 colours and as untreated wood veneers.

Zuma melamine faced particleboard is characterised by a distinctive structure. Its design explores the timeless technique of carving that encompasses different materials. By focusing on the crafting elements of the process and not the medium, the abstract pattern changes its appearance depending on the respective colour hue or the underlying paper. The resulting effect can be chosen at will and varies between traditional chiseled wood, stone carving or modern laser-processed metal sheet.

3DF is a post-mouldable fibreboard for compression moulding that offers a large degree of flexibility in terms of realising different structures, curves, arches, colours and surfaces. The innovative wooden composite is manufactured using a formaldehyde-free thermoplastic adhesive. This allows the fibreboard to be shaped as desired using heat and pressure, and structuring and bending can both be performed in one work step.
