Why we need to rethink traditional kitchen production
Over 1.2 million kitchens are produced in Germany every year - and distributed across Europe by lorry. But because the carcasses are glued together, only 17 to 21 kitchens fit on one trailer. This has consequences: Around 60,000 lorry loads cover more than 18.6 million kilometres every year - for kitchen transport alone. The Süddeutsche Zeitung reported on this enormous logistical challenge back in 2015.
What if it could be done differently?
What if we analysed exactly what was really needed - and consistently left out everything that was superfluous?
An intelligent design makes exactly that possible: more kitchens per lorry, less use of materials, easier handling.
Fast assembly, circular processes and well thought-out design are the key elements of a decisive trend: taking responsibility for sustainable action.
This is precisely where the new kitchen concept comes in.
It combines resource-saving materials with intelligent logistics and revolutionary ease of assembly - directly on the construction site.
This idea has given rise to a network of innovative companies.
With a shared vision: There's more to it. Much more.
