OWI - new innovations

Moulded part made from wood fibres "OWI FiberFlex" - new possibilities in 3D shaping

OWI relies on innovative materials in the production of moulded parts. While classic plywood moulded parts made of beech veneer can only be formed in three dimensions to a limited extent, a newly used wood fibre material offers extended design possibilities.

With this innovation, OWI opens up completely new perspectives in the production of moulded parts. The combination of high mouldability, sustainable materials and CO₂ storage makes this product the ideal solution for modern seat shells and support elements - environmentally friendly, stable and design-oriented.

OWI EcoCycle - Sustainable circular economy & compounding at OWI

Through this circular economy, OWI as a system supplier not only manufactures sustainable products for its customers, but also ensures that materials are used multiple times.

OWI has developed a closed recycling loop that makes it possible to fully utilise plastic products. The aim is not to dispose of waste, but to reuse it efficiently.

The production of plastic requires large quantities of primary raw materials such as crude oil as well as a lot of energy.

By using secondary raw materials made from recycled material, valuable resources can be saved and CO₂ emissions significantly reduced: Up to 3.2 tonnes of CO₂ emissions per recycled tonne of plastic compared to new production.

Bodychair-Mechanik - ergonomics, flexibility and design in perfect balance

The Bodychair-Mechanik sets new standards for flexible and ergonomic sitting.

The combination of innovative mechanics, minimalist design and sustainable choice of materials makes it a versatile solution.

With this concept, OWI and Osko+Deichmann present a well thought-out development that combines design, functionality and sustainability.
