For even greater individualisation in furniture manufacturing and interior construction

Individualisation is a key concept in furniture manufacturing today. At its core are technological innovations, with digital printing set to take on a leading role in the future. It is the key to efficiently producing furniture, fabrics and carpets whose surfaces are individually designed to meet the customer’s preferences.

The special DIGITAL PRINTING event area in Hall 3.2 will presented groundbreaking applications of this innovative technology. The spectrum of exhibits was ranged from the design idea to finished items of furniture, and covered all the critical process steps needed to integrate digital printing into furniture production and interior construction. From the selection of decors and the implementation in the IT programmes to the actual printing and the subsequent finishing, the complete workflow was presented. The event area also showcased a selection of leading industry specialists. It was an opportunity for visitors to discover how digital printing technology can be intelligently integrated into their processes and to find out which process steps need to be considered and what expertise is available to assist them.

Below, exhibitors Hymmen and Mimaki give you a first impression of the innovative solutions they have presented in the special area and at their stands right next door:
