During the exhibition METIS will demonstrate the latest DRS PLUS model which includes a new patent pending illumination (for very fast scanning and completed automated workflow) and the ability to use the scanner not only for production purposes but also for the marketing of the Décor product; this by generating standard PBR textures (PBR=Phisical Based Rendering) compatible with the most popular 3D software.

Metis comes from satellite digital imaging since 1975. The exclusive performances of METIS scanners are the result of a sophisticated and advanced design which includes high precision mechanics, state of the art electronic and powerful software. A unique feature of those scanners is the possibility to customize the light schematic with extreme flexibility and immediateness. This is achieved thanks to the unique DCS lighting system (covered by two patents in 2010 and 2014) which, among other elements, allows to generate 3D information of the surface with a very high level of details.
