The name "OrganiQ" stands for a pioneering composite material which offers an attractive alternative to solid wood in terms of price and aesthetics. It consists of fast-growing renewable grass fibres and a water-based formaldehyde and phenol-free binding agent, which give it excellent properties. OrganiQ is light, durable and food-safe. The ability to form it three-dimensionally offers even more as yet untapped design possibilities for the future. The company manufactures customised interior organisation elements for drawers and pull-outs from the material, which was developed alongside the Institute for Composite Materials at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern.
