About Timo Rieke
Timo Rieke is a German designer and professor of colour and surface design at the HAWK University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Hildesheim. He is a board member of the German Colour Association (DFZ), a partner of the Institute International Trendscouting at HAWK and Design Director of the visual haptics lab, which he founded in Hanover, Germany, in January 2004. Timo Rieke worked for 8 years in Vienna on international projects, competitions, exhibitions, visual identity and lectures for the architectural firm COOP HIMMELB(L)AU. He advises public and private clients on the development of spaces, collections and product designs and shares his expertise in workshops and lectures. Since 2018, Timo Rieke has been responsible for the design of the RAL Colour Feeling Trend Report, which he conceived as a function-oriented design tool for designers and architects.
