About Aaron von Lüpke
Aaron von Lüpke is a trained mechanical engineer and computer scientist and founded the tech company ,,YONA' with the associated YONA app together with Urs Pospischil and Mel Richter in 2019. This uses augmented reality technology, which means that analog formats are extended by digital elements. This can be, for example, images in magazines that play videos as soon as the app is held on the selected areas to offer readers even more information and an interactive interface between the real and digital worlds. YONA's vision is to make augmented reality accessible to everyone, so that not only individuals can benefit from the technology, but society as a whole. Before founding YONA, von Lüpke studied mechanical engineering and computer science in Cologne, Düsseldorf and for a time in Sydney and worked for 5.5 years at REHADAT in Cologne, among other things as a database programmer. In addition to YONA, the Cologne native also runs his furniture design company 'Rahmlow,' which he rebuilt in 2018 from a former family business.
