innovation of interior is a unique opportunity for designers, architects and project developers. It visualizes trends and scopes for design in the areas of Light, Mobile Materials, Light Construction and the impact of social changes on design and architecture.

European Veneer Convention

The chances and potentials of the basic material veneer for the furniture and interior industries were presented in a – partly surprising – application show. The convention part is organized in cooperation with the Gesamtverband deutscher Holzhandel (GD Holz) and the Initiative Furnier + Natur (IFN).
An additional incentive was provided by an interesting lecture programme.

Form & Decoration

The variety of surfaces and patterns were in the spotlight of this Piazza. Here a broad over-all survey of the industry’s capacity and range of products is presented with the support of the exhibitors of hall 6.

Diversity of covers

Experimental applications of cover fabrics and leather – this was how the concept of the University of Applied Sciences Detmold, field Interior Design, showed textiles in emotional form. Moreover a top-class forum establishes the relationship to new and innovative solutions.

The “Light & Safe Packaging” Piazza in hall 10.2 were feature an array of topics focusing on fascinating examples of the diverse and innovative applications of "protective coverings for products of the furniture industry". The Piazza was being jointly organized by Koelnmesse GmbH and the German Association for Plastics Packagings and Films.
